Around 80% of women in the workforce are in jobs that are highly exposed to automation through generative AI, according to Goldman Sachs.🤯 In comparison, the figure drops to nearly 60% for men. The gender disparity is striking, with women facing a 21% higher risk of AI automation exposure. It turns out that office and administrative support, healthcare, education, and social services are among the top contenders. But here's a surprising twist: white-collar jobs are at greater risk from AI than blue-collar jobs. The Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise explains that the higher exposure of women to AI automation is primarily due to their greater representation in white-collar roles, accounting for about 70% of the female workforce. In contrast, men have a more balanced ratio of roughly 50-50 between white-collar and blue-collar jobs. Now, before we go into panic mode, let's remember that knowledge is power! Understanding these trends allows us to prepare for the future and take proactive steps. It's time to step up and bridge the gender gap in AI exposure. Let's encourage initiatives that empower women in technology and foster their skills in this rapidly evolving landscape. Together, we can champion diversity and ensure everyone has equal opportunities to thrive in the age of AI. What do you think about this insightful analysis? How can we work together to address these challenges and pave the way for a more inclusive future? https://lnkd.in/dbUNx8JH #ai #law #digitaltransformation #technology -------- 💥I am Olga. 🔺Providing tips for in-house lawyers. 🔺Delivering keynotes on the intersection of business, law, and tech.
